Wouldn't it be great fun to start some community activities, where all of you can participate and that might help all of you to spread the messages of Christmas? So, why not start with the first one, a

Here are the rules:
The first group of bloggers that are tagged below will add 2 lines to the first text line that is provided. In those added lines, one word will have to be hyperlinked to their own blog, and their post will have to include a link to Santa's Community Blog. Please include line numbers, and please also include a call to all bloggers to join Santa's Community here on MyBlogLog!
Then tag 5 more bloggers (picking existing members of the "Santa's Community Blog" community would be a good start), who will add their next 2 lines, and they tag another 5 more bloggers, etc. etc.
You can turn the text after the first line into a Christmas Short Story, a Poem, a Carol, whatever you feel like doing. When the text has reached 21 lines, you are asked to submit the story. You can do that by leaving a comment to this message, with a link to your own post. We will select the best, nicest, warmest, funniest Collectively Written Christmas Stories and publish them here on Santa's Community Blog.

I will get to it when i get a chance/free time. I have been tagged too many times recently.
No problem, purplefrogcat! You can always pick this up later!
Hi Jos,
Hey thanks for the tag :) I look forward to starting on this one tomorrow, the few others I have to do will just have to wait lol.
Have a great week :)
OK Colin, That's the spirit! :)
Looking forward to your post!
-Jos
You caught me on my day off. I am DONE!
Thanks Jos.
If you have time, stop in and check it out... I am still learning my way with tags. Hope I did OK :-)
Eric "Speedcat"
You have done GREAT, Eric (except for the people you tagged; they were already on the first list -- maybe you can select some other bloggers?)
Thanks! -Jos:)

May the spirit of christmas be with you.
-Jos:)
Hi Jos,
Mines sorted, with a few additions :)
Sure Santa will be pleased hahahaha
Ho! Ho! Ho! everyone. It's ok. I'm watching but this is Jos's game so I'm laying low Ho! Ho! Ho!
Colin, that is straight-out terrific! You have done a Good Job! Thanks!
-Jos:)
Santa, It's is nice to know that you are watching, as you always are.. but there's no need to lay low :)
In fact, come to think of it, you might as well participate in this meme yourself. Would you like to pick up the tag on one of your other blogs? :))
-Jos
Jackie, your post looks great! You did it A-ok! Thanks&Hugs.
-Jos:)
Thank you. You know, I think all of you are wonderful and the link love you give me is extraordinary. I cannot thank you enough for always including em in your memes even when my crazy single mom life gets in the way of me participating more. I am going to try and take the time to join this one since all of the blogs tagged I enjoy so much and want to make sure the world knows about them.
All my best to Santa and his helpers.

Hi Jos,
Thanks for the tag. I'll have to do some thinking as I'm concocting my Christmas list. I am new to this so I hope I do it correctly.
Oops,is it possible that one of Santa's sleepy elves misspelled my name? Love you, Santa!
Hi Catherine, Thank you. I appreciate your comment, and as a person with a "crazy single dad life", I fully understand that there is only so much one can fit into one week ;)
I still do hope you will find a way to particpate, though, and am looking forward to that.
-Jos:)
Hi Kim, I have seen your post; you did great! Thanks!
Hi Robin, thanks for your comment. I am sure you will do ok with this!
As for the typo: I will change it immediately in my own post and will ask Santa to have one of the Elfs change it in the other posts..
-Jos:)
I am so confused. And behind on everything.... I still need to do an award post and this and write a report of my trip to Scotland and aaaaah!
Can I do this later? ((if at all))
Ps. I don't think I'll remember to check back here for a reply so please reply to me on mybloglog on on my actual blog?
x Maartje
Well, Maartje, why don't you just combine it all in one nice large blogpost ;))
To help you remember to check back for a reply on a comment you left somewhere, here is a handy tool that I am using. It's really quite easy to use: http://nodirecton.blogspot.com/2007/08/keeping-track-of-your-comments.html
And I will copy this message for your convenience at your MBL profile page :)
-Jos:)
Okay I am in. I know the little girl.
Ok, it's done! I hope Santa is pleased. http://thespiritknowsbest.blogspot.com
That was so much fun! Now on to making some Christmas fudge....
Thank you, Robin! Your 2 lines are wonderful! Thanks for participating and good luck on the fudge ;)
-Jos
Hi All! Some of you have done great on this meme, but it seems that I have saddled you up with a bit of a complex meme... I am sorry. I will make the next one easier and with clearer instructions on the rules and what to copy etc.
This one so far at least has created a nice bit of Link LOve for Santa!
Can you all please "chase" your own 'taggees' a little bit and encourage them to follow up on this meme? We do all want to offer some great 21 line stories to Santa in the end! Thanks!
-Jos:)
Hi Jos,
I will chase up my taggees and their tags too so hopefully it will get all the way down to 21 :)
Have a great weekend ahead :)
Colin
Hi Jos, Santa, and Friends,
Just for the record, I tagged KennyN, Spiral.Butterfly, Cubiclequeen, BernadetteD, and Brunette. I left a message for each of them on their "MyBlogLog" profile page, even tho' I didn't say who I tagged in the original post. Thanks.
Does Santa like fudge?
Hi Colin, thanks! I am sure you will chase up some nice follow up postings by your taggees :) Have a great weekend too!
Hi Robin, thank you for letting us know. I don't know about Santa (though it's not hard to guess ;), but I do like fudge...
Nina, from The Alien Next Door, did a great job, carrying this meme to the 2nd phase. Thank you, Nina!
-Jos:)
1- The day before Christmas a young little girl
2- Was worried about Christmas in the Future.
3- So, she planted an acre of “living Christmas trees”
4- without realizing that the grumpy Alien Next Door
5- was allergic to trees and hated Christmas.
6-Of course, she did not want to be a Scrooge
7- so she baked some of her best cookies and went over to her neighbor's house.
That is nicely done, Alexander. I can not find your post, however. Is there something with the link?
