Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone
The time has come to start Santa's Big Christmas Event.
As you know by now, Christmas to me is all about the giving. Sure, it's nice to receive something from someone special, but, when you compare the joy you receive in watching a loved one open something that you have specially hunted for and lovingly wrapped with the expectation of the happiness you know you are about to see.... Nothing can compare to that. That is what Christmas is all about.
When you add that special feeling to the true meaning of Christmas ... the celebration of Christ's birth... and then add in the special mix of family celebration and the joy and peace and happiness of the season.... No wonder there is magic in the air.
This place is special too. This is the BlogWorld home of Christmas. Ground Zero for Ho! Ho! Ho!
So.. here is what Santa wants you ALL to do. I want us all involved. No one should miss out on sharing themselves with those they care about. For those of you still about to celebrate Thanksgiving .... well.. Christmas is coming early this year too ☺
Firstly I want us all to design a Christmas card that includes the the graphic to the left. Share the Spirit of Christmas this Year!! Be creative. Make it something that is personally yours and something that you are proud to give to someone you care about. Make it you!!!When you have designed your Christmas card I want you all to do a post on your blog (linking back to here so everyone will know and LEAVE A COMMENT to say you have done so) and give your card to someone special. Tell them how much they mean to you. If you want to give a card to many people please go ahead but please do a post for each and please leave a comment here for each post.
Send messages to your members and friends and get them to make cards too but please always link back here and get everyone to leave a comment each time they post a card. Get them to pass the message too. Let's flood BlogWorld with Christmas Cheer.Let's see how many comments we get because that will be the number of cards sent. Let's fill BlogWorld with the Spirit of Christmas and let's make those we love and care about know that we do care with the Spirit of Christmas.
When you join in Santa's Spirit of Christmas this year you may place this on your blog. The code is there for you to help yourself. Let's see if we can get every blog out there to have this logo displayed by the time Christmas arrives!!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Harley. You will need to make the card in a program like Paint or photshop and then save the card you make and post it. What fun!!! If you need help we have lots of budding artists here Ho Ho Ho ☺

Hi Santa, I will do my best. But first, alas, we will have to get your counterpart "Sinterklaas" that we celebrate here in the Netherlands on Dec 5th, out of the way.
There is always a bit of a 'battle' between Sinterklaas-believers and Santa Claus -believers going on, and in general, it is considered 'not done' to give too much of attention to Santa Claus before Sinterklaas-day is over and the bisshop has returned to Spain..
Count me in too Santa...i will also do my best along with so many others :)

I will definitely make a Christmas card. As you know I love PSP and graphics. But, I like Jos have one problem. It will have to be done after I return home in a couple of weeks because I discovered the other day while trying to make a graphic for the hofb blog that most of my filters won't work. This laptop simply doesn't have the ram needed to process. So I hope that will be soon enough Santa. I am trying my best. Please remember that I have already made Christmas canes for everyone that wanted them. BTW...Thanksgiving is a very big and special holiday for many Americans. Sorry if that upsets you..but that's the way I feel.

I would love to join in this. However, I don't quite understand how to make a 'card'. It is acceptable to make a 'postcard' type post (with the graphic and message)?
