Santa has been hacked... again!!

Ho! Ho! Ho! everyone

I just wanted to let you know why there seem to be a lot of missing things on my blogs at the moment. Some of you have also noticed that your Spirit of Christmas Award and Santa's-Helper Buttons also seem to have disappeared from your sites.

It seems that Santa is very popular for the hackers and they have completely wiped out my entire web site ( all 600 pages) which is where many of the files that are required for these blogs as well as the awards are located. Don't fret though. Santa has been working away all night to fix the problem and it should all be up and running again within 2 days. Please look at the blank spaces longingly until then anticipating the return of your piece of Santa happiness on your blog.

I am sorry everyone. This frustrates me more than i could ever say but there's no point in sitting here worrying or moaning. We have too much to do and too litteltime so we are working to fix the problem as well as making sure that in the furure no one will get their hacking jollies out of Santa ☺

I really am very sorry and your awards will magically reappear within a couple of days maximum. Thank you for being so understanding

I cannot imagine North Pole, where there are only snows, trees, bears, and snow, okay I said that already. I mean, that is not New York, London, Kuala Lumpur, or Rawang.

How can an individual there produce any button a child like me simply asking for it.

No…I don’t think so. Furthermore, indeed further most, he is there, North Pole. He is still quite. (Say give up Sir…it is okay by me).

To my surprise, he did do it!

Amazing!!!

He even wrote the script within seconds, when I asked him a moment ago. Wow!

Live Satellite Feed from Rudolph

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

I know everyone has been anxious to know how Rudolph is so we have arranged a satellite link to the Elf Police Headquarters to talk to Rudolph.

Unfortunately the Elf Police have fed Rudolph so much Ice Cream and Cream Cakes that his nose is shining like a beacon and that makes the picture quality very poor. However if you look closely you can see Rudolph and some of the Elf Police who are caring for him.

As soon as we have better pictures I will get them to you straight away.

RUDOLPH FOUND!!!!!!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone!!

Finally some great and wonderful news. Rudolph is found!! Mrs Claus is doing cartwheels in her kitchen and baking up a storm. We'll be up to our ears in cookies tonight! Ho! Ho! Ho!

The elves are so excited that they are making toys faster than I have ever seen before. We have toys everywhere and the packing elves are so behind because they can't keep up with all the new toys coming out of the workshop. Ho! Ho! Ho!

We are all so happy and all so excited. This is the best day ever!!!

The chief Investigator Elf, Sherlock, contacted me by elf phone only a few hours ago to tell me that they had found where Rudolph was being held captive and they had stormed the building. A few innocent people's kneecaps were slightly hurt by the elves in their fighting frenzy but they have all forgiven the Elf Police and understand that they were on a very serious mission. A few hurt knees and a lot of big smiles. A wonderful success all around.

Boris the bad elf has been taken into custody and will appear before the Elf Court at the North Pole at it's next sitting next Friday. I am the Chief Judge and will hear the case then. The Elf prosecutor tells me that he has a very solid case and Boris will be behind bars for a very long time.

Rudolph was slightly undernourished and once he was taken to Elf Police headquarters and fed a huge bowl of Ice cream and Cream Cakes he is looking a lot better and the red is coming back into his nose slowly. The Elf Doctor has already visited him and checked him out and says that there will be no permanent damage from this ordeal. Thank goodness. We were all so worried especially Mrs Claus. She knows how Rudolph loves his Ice Cream.

Once he has rested for a while the Elf Police will feed him some of the special magic food that we already sent to them and Rudolph will fly his way home to the North Pole in only a few minutes. We have such a surprise party organized for him. He will be so happy and his nose will be flashing like a beacon by the time the party is over. We can't wait for him to arrive. Mrs Claus and I have lots of reindeer cuddles to catch up with over the next few weeks and we also have to get him back into shape and fit for his big night out that is getting so close.

We were very worried because if he hadn't been found now there would be no way we could have trained another reindeer in time for Christmas eve. Thank goodness for the Elf Police.

Well that's all for now everyone. as soon as I have more news or Rudolph gets here I'll let you know. I'll make sure to take lots of photos of his surprise party for you. What a night that will be Ho! Ho! Ho!

Rudolph's kidnapper Identified

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

Finally!!!! Mrs Claus can't stop dancing all around her kitchen and the cookies are flowing again. Everything suddenly seems wonderful!!

The elves are so excited that they have started to make toys faster and faster to catch up production. They are singing and squeeling and jumping about and the toys are getting to the wrapping station at a record speed. The North Pole is alive with excitement!!

Finally the Elf Police has identified the kidnapper. Enough clues were found around the crime scene (Rudolph's pen) to complete a DET test (Diagnostic elf test) and the results were conclusive. The culprit has been identified as Boris The Bad Elf. Boris is well known to all of us here at the North Pole. He has tried this sort of thing before except last time he made a mistake and kidnapped a squirrel. I think he needs his eyes tested.

The Elf Police (as previously advised) have pinpointed Rudolph's location thanks to his red nose and they feel it will only be a matter of time till he is recued. The main concern right now is that they find him in time because it isn't known if Boris is still with him or if he has been fed properly since he was taken. It has been a major concern during this whole ordeal that Rudolph gets his 3 meals a day and his fair share of ice cream and cream cakes. We are all worried.

The InterPelf (International Elf Police) are moving in on Boris and we will be able to report further updates very shortly. Please stay tuned for updates as they happen.

Candy Canes For Everyone

Ho Ho Ho I was playing this morning and made some candy canes. Santa and anyone else may use them if you would like. I don't mind adding your names to them either. Christmas is a very special time for many children -- the day presents are left by a magical person.

In the United States and Canada, his name is Santa Claus. He flies through the sky in a sleigh pulled by eight reindeer.

In England his name is Father Christmas. He looks much like Santa Claus, but he has a longer coat and a longer beard.

• In Wales (a principality in the United Kingdom), Santa is called Sion Corn - this translates as "Chimney John" relating to the story that Santa comes down the chimney of each house to bring his gifts to the children within.
  

In France, he's known as Pere Noel. He is also called Pere Noel in Canada.

In Brazil and Peru, he's called Papai Noel.

In Germany, children get presents from Christkind, the Christ Child on the 24th of December. Also, in Germany Knecht Ruprecht and his helpers come on the 6th of December. Krampus brings coal or a wooden stick to the children that have not been good, Knecht Ruprecht brings mostly cookies, nuts and a small toy to the good children. Belsnickel - German version of Santa who carries a switch to beat the bad children. In Germany, Father Christmas can also be called der Weihnachtsmann.

In Poland, Santa is "Gwiazdor" ("star man") -- for the North Star. He visits children on Christmas Eve, bringing presents. The Christmas Eve meal begins once the first star is seen. "Swiety Mikolaj" (Saint Nicholas) was a cardinal in the Catholic Church, he visits children on December 6th and he brings presents, mostly sweets, which he leaves in children clean (it is very important) shoes.

In Costa Rica, Colombia, and parts of Mexico, the gift bringer is El Nino Jesus, "the infant Jesus."

In Puerto Rico, children receive gifts from the Three Kings on January 6th. Each child puts grass under their bed for the camels and in the morning the grass is replaced with gifts.

Jultomten or Tomten Sweden. Jultomten visits in the evening before Christmas day, pulling a big bag of julklappar (Christmas presents) in the deep snow.

På norsk (in Norwegian) "Julenissen" arrives on the evening of the 24th.

In the Netherlands, he is called Kerstman. He flies through the sky with his reindeers and puts gifts under the Christmas tree on the 25th of December. De Kerstman lives in Finland. His counterpart "Sinterklaas" is another saint, who is celebrated on the 5th of December. Sinterklaas comes back every year from his home in Spain by steamboat, together with him are a whole group of "zwarte pieten" who help him while he's riding on the roofs - distributing gifts through the chimney.

In Finland, he is called Joulupukki and his home is in Lapland in the north part of Finland called Korvatunturl. Also in Finland, the Swedish-speaking Finns (finlandssvenskar) call him Julgubben.

• In Spain the children the night of January 5th put their shoes under the Christmas tree and have presents from the Three Kings (Los Reyes Magos: Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar). Santa Claus is called Papa Noel and there are children who have presents both days on December 25th (from Papa Noel) and on January 6th (from the Three Kings).
  
  
• In Russia, he is called Grandfather Frost or Ded Moroz. Also, there is Babooska the person who was searching for Christ the night he was born. She spoke to the Three Wise Men or Three Kings on their way to find him, they offered their company to her. But she replied I am too old, so the Three Men went on without her and she set search the following day but the "King" had gone from his birth place and when Babooska heard the news she decided to give her presents for Christ to the childern in her country Russia every year on the 13th of Dec to make them happy.
  
  
• He is also called Kriss Kringle - origin unknown.
  
  
• He is also called St. Nick origin Turkey.
  
  
• Karácsony Apó, is Santa in Hungarian.
  
  
• In Italy, he is called Babbo Natale. Also, they recieve their presents on January 6th from the gift bringer an old lady called Befana.
  
  
• Black Peter, St Nick's helper which originates from
  Morocco or Liberia.
  
  
• In China, he is called Shengdan Laoren.
  
  
• In Denmark they call him, Julemand.

• In Hong Kong they call him Sing dan lo ian in Cantonese.

• In Slovenia they call him Bozicek.

• In Latvia Santa Claus is called Ziemmassve'tku veci'tis.

• In the country Uruguay he is called Papá Noel.

• In Lithuania Santa Claus is called Kaledu Senis.

• In Portugal Santa Claus is known as Pai Natal. He brings presents on Christmas Eve. However, the portuguese tradition says the presents in that night are brought by the Newborn Jesus "Menino Jesus".

• In Estonia he is called Jouluvana.

• In Ireland he is called Santa Claus and children abbreviate this to just Santy.

• Many children in the Hindu religion receive gifts from their god Ganesha during the Holiday Season.

• In Austria, children get presents from Christkindl, the Christ Child on the 24th of December.

• In Greece, Santa Claus is called "Aghios Vassilis" and he comes on the night of 31st December leaving the presents under the tree for the children to find them on New Year's Day.

• In Hawaii, Santa Claus is known as Kanakaloka.

• In Armenian, Santa Clause is Gaghant Baba and he brings presents to all the good girls and boys.

• The name for Santa in Yugoslavia is Deda Mraz.

• In Croatia, he is called Bozicnjak.
  
  
• In Bulgaria they call him Diado Coleda.

• In El Salvador, for some families Santa Claus brings gifts on Christmas Eve to those children who are well behaved. People get together with the family, children go to bed and find a gift on December 25th.

• In Urdu he is called Baba Christmass.

• In Romania, Santa Claus is Mos Craciun and he comes on the night of the 24th of December bringing presents. Also, the night of the 5th of December is Mos Nicolae (St. Nicholas) puts candies in the good children boots or a stick in the bad ones.

• In Nevis/St. Kitts in the Caribbean, Santa Claus comes up from under the sea, not from the North Pole.

We Can Make A Difference

I wasn't ever going to post this. As a Christian I prefer to give anonymously. But, I went up to visit Santa's wish tree today and there aren't too many boxes there. Now depending on which side of the planet you live on when this post is made we only have 96 to 97 days left to help make Christmas come true for thousands of children who are homeless, poor, and may very well wake up on Christmas morning with nothing. So I am making a plea to you all to give just $20 and help crowd the boxes under Santa's tree so full that he will have to use every tree at the North pole. Just think all you have to do is skip McDonald's one or two times or give up a couple of Lattes at Starbucks and give a child like Carol a nice present to go under her tree. Or, perhaps you could do as I did and give even more and maybe help Carol have a Christmas tree and a present. Blog Elf's Hat

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

As you are no doubt aware the Blog Elf has been telling everyone over the past few days that he lost his hat and someone had stolen it. This was very true.

Our froggy friend Kim has found the hat and claimed the prize but i felt it very important to clarify some issues surrounding the hat.

This particular hat was given to Zephyr by me when I was handing out Santa hats a few weeks ago. I gave Deborah a green hat because it was naturally something that suited what she does with her work and passion.

It appears that in fact the hat was stolen by the Blog elf from Deborah. It was a gift from me to her. I certainly wouldn't forget something like that.

Breaking News..... Rudolph may be Found

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

We have just received such wonderful news. Mrs Claus is so excited and the elves have the biggest smiles that we've seen in days.

We have just had reports from The Elf Police working in conjunction with NORAD, that they have picked up signals using the Heat Signature given off by Rudolph's nose which gives off an infrared signature similar to a missile launch. This has helped them to pinpoint Rudolph's location to within 5 meters of his present location.

The BEI (Bureau of Elf Investigation) along with the IEA (International Elf Agency) have already begun operations that hopefully will lead to the capture of the criminals and the release of Rudolph. It is hoped that no casualties will take place and that all toys already handed over to these hardened criminals will be recovered in time for Christmas.

The Elf Police have advised us to keep this information very quiet so as not to alert the kidnappers. Santa just had to tell you because I am so happy and excited.

As soon as we have any more information I will let you know straight away. Thankyou for all of your support during these trying times.
