Santa Claus Preparing Ready For Christmas

Santa Claus Santa Claus still preparing ready for Christmas.
From Malaysia, particularly
tourismlogo.jpg, we are set, and the following is the current info, from the Government's official site:

Christmas & New Year's Eve
The Christmas season in Malaysia is full of gaiety and excitement as it is also the time for year-end parties. Christmas trees and decorations can be seen in Christian homes, hotels and malls. In Malaysia, there is a choice of celebrating Christmas tropical-style at the beach or in the cool hill resorts, and festive fare can feature Christmas turkey or Malaysian specialties. Christmas church services are held and there is much merry-making. Christian families invite friends from other ethnic groups to their homes to join in the Christmas celebrations and all are welcome at the Government's Christmas "Open House" celebrations. On New Year's Eve, hotels are packed with revellers and there are often street parties in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Genting Highlands to welcome the New Year.

Zubli ZainordinTo me, this year is interesting, because Santa Claus is coming to Malaysia, visiting from North Pole, especially meeting friends here, and spending hours afterwards with me drinking milk and eating cookies, at my home.

Santa will return soon!!

Ho Ho Ho Everyone.

Well.. I'm not sure if anyone has missed me but here I am.. back for just a few moments to say hello and that I will be returning full time in just a few more days.

It's been a hectic couple of weeks. We were so far behind with toy production since Rudolph was kidnapped that I just had to do something drastic. We are almost back up to production speed again so I'll be able to be back here with you all again really soon.

In the mean time I hope everyone has been keeping the Christmas spirit going full steam.

Catch you all again soon..

Always,

Santa

Christmas Conversation

See how many you can slip in to the conversation this Christmas!

Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.

Smother the butter all over the breasts

How long do I beat it before it's ready?

Whew, that's one terrific spread!

Talk about a huge breast!

That's the biggest one I've ever seen.

Breast or leg?

I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.

Do you want stuffing?

Don't play with your meat.

You still have a little bit on your chin.

If I don't undo my trousers, I'll burst!

I'm so full; I've been gobbling nuts all morning.

Do you want some cream on your Pudding?

Now just remember I was talking about FOOD....I know what you lot are like!!

Have a wonderful week all.

Santa on Vacation

Santa Claus needed a vacation.

He decided to go to Texas because it was warm and he had heard that the people were friendly. As soon as he arrived in town, people began to point and say, "Look! The big red one! Isn't he someone famous?"

Santa thought, "Gee, I'll never get any rest if people start asking to sit on my lap and try to tell me things they want." So he decided to disguise himself. He bought a cowboy outfit complete with cowboy boots and cowboy hat. "No one will know me now-- I look just like everyone else!" He thought happily.

As soon as Santa started walking down the street people began to point and say, "Look! It's that famous Christmas personality!" Santa rushed around a corner to hide. "It's my beard!" he thought. "They recognize me because of my long white beard!" So Santa went to a barbershop and had his beard shaved off. "I really look like everybody else now!" Santa thought.

So he walked down the street with a big smile on his face. Suddenly a man shouted "It's him! It's him! Look everybody!" Santa couldn't believe it.

He was sure that no one would recognize him.

So Santa walked up to the man and said, "How did you recognize me?" The man looked at Santa and said, "You? I don't know you-- but isn't that four-legged guy with the big red nose behind you, Rudolph?"

Have a wonderful day all,

Colin

I was blown away when I saw and heard this, and I have put in on my main blog for a few of my 'very special ones'.

I thought I'd share this with all of you in this community, too. It is not about Santa, or Christmas, but somehow I feel it fits in with the purpose of this blog. Enjoy!

Sharing the Spirit of Christmas

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

The time has come to start Santa's Big Christmas Event.

As you know by now, Christmas to me is all about the giving. Sure, it's nice to receive something from someone special, but, when you compare the joy you receive in watching a loved one open something that you have specially hunted for and lovingly wrapped with the expectation of the happiness you know you are about to see.... Nothing can compare to that. That is what Christmas is all about.

When you add that special feeling to the true meaning of Christmas ... the celebration of Christ's birth... and then add in the special mix of family celebration and the joy and peace and happiness of the season.... No wonder there is magic in the air.

This place is special too. This is the BlogWorld home of Christmas. Ground Zero for Ho! Ho! Ho!

So.. here is what Santa wants you ALL to do. I want us all involved. No one should miss out on sharing themselves with those they care about. For those of you still about to celebrate Thanksgiving .... well.. Christmas is coming early this year too

Firstly I want us all to design a Christmas card that includes the the graphic to the left. Share the Spirit of Christmas this Year!! Be creative. Make it something that is personally yours and something that you are proud to give to someone you care about. Make it you!!!

When you have designed your Christmas card I want you all to do a post on your blog (linking back to here so everyone will know and LEAVE A COMMENT to say you have done so) and give your card to someone special. Tell them how much they mean to you. If you want to give a card to many people please go ahead but please do a post for each and please leave a comment here for each post.

Send messages to your members and friends and get them to make cards too but please always link back here and get everyone to leave a comment each time they post a card. Get them to pass the message too. Let's flood BlogWorld with Christmas Cheer.

Let's see how many comments we get because that will be the number of cards sent. Let's fill BlogWorld with the Spirit of Christmas and let's make those we love and care about know that we do care with the Spirit of Christmas.

When you join in Santa's Spirit of Christmas this year you may place this on your blog. The code is there for you to help yourself. Let's see if we can get every blog out there to have this logo displayed by the time Christmas arrives!!

Who would you choose as your very best blogging friend(s)?

How many bloggers can you reach with a message and get a comment in return?

How many bloggers can you get to design a Christmas card and to join in out Link Love extravaganza.

Are you a believer in the Spirit of Christmas?

How many people do you have in your membership that would help Santa and have fun?

What is Christmas all about?

Get ready to join Santa in a Christmas that is all about giving. Afterall isn't that what it is supposed to be? ☺

As always,

Santa Claus Remembers Always

1santaclausavatar.jpg
Including my 50th Birthday, today. You win! You have passed. Excellent. Truly, Santa Claus is magical. He fills in nice, all the niceness I lack or do not have right now. He is to me, a grandpa, a father, a brother, an adviser, and most meaningfully, the Best Friend, and the God willing, we shall continue...and more as we proceed together beyond these.

As you know I started blogging in December, 2006. So This is the first birthday celebration for me as a blogger within this blog World.
Zubli Zainordin
This is, the best moment in my life.

I am totally at peace now. I much prefer wisdom. Okay, staying virgin, is Santa Claus knows, not possible. So I rest from entertaining such a preference.

To Santa Claus, my pardner, my partners, my blog brother, my blog sister, my e-Communities members, my Best Of Friends Forever, and Family...I love you.

In my life I do not have a huwmen enemy. Yet, I know a few who do consider me as such. Particularly bloggers who are no longer in Synchronicity with me, no more in connection, no interaction, do not even mention my name, no longer work on a project with me, I am not added, no longer in my e-Communities, and as a whole, out of my blogging life, and what is similar. I have forgiven you. If till finally, you can never and will not ever forgive me, this is okay. I only miss you and our togetherness, particularly what we can really achieve together as bloggers. All the nicenessnizationnesses we enjoy together earlier, yet tiny or BIG is my badness or playfullness, or I am the worst or most dangerous blogger in your list, I am now still able to say, to write, and to post, about huwmen nature:

* Make peace not war,
* Children, please no fighting, no quarreling,
* Let's be harmonious,
* No prejudice,
* No bad mouthing,
* No jabbing from behind, or under...ouch!
* and more,

Most importantly, I can share with ease, the beauty of forgiveness, and a special forgetfulness, so much so, we return to a dot, a place and space, when all are right, correct, and nice.

Peace.

So, let's celebrate!!!

Happy Birthday Zubli

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

Zubli is always saying to me that I know everything so to prove the point I want to take a moment right now to wish our wonderful friend Zubli a very happy 50th Birthday for today. Don't worry Zubli, you don't look a day over 49.

May all of your dreams come true (except for the last few that you've been telling me about lately) Ho Ho Ho

Zubli is a loyal friend who I know I can rely on and that is a rare thing these days even here in BlogWorld ☺

Zubli, I hope you have a wonderful day and that you have nothing but peace and joy and happiness in the years ahead.

The Good Buzzz Blog Award

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone.

It seems that another little creature has climbed its way out of primordial ooze otherwise known as Polliwog's Pond. His name is Brad the Blogbee and he is care taking for Paula while she has a well earned break

Brad (I suspect Paula) has presented me with a brand new award.. The Good Buzz Blog Award.

Brad says: The Good Buzzz Blog Award is for blogs that have generated a happy hum in the blogosphere. Whether it be for their blog in general, one outstanding, unusual or controversial post, or for something cool the blogger has done.

Thank you so much Brad (Paula) for this wonderful award. I really do appreciate it :-)

First we have "Sinterklaas" (Dec. 5th)

I would like to introduce "Sinterklaas" to you all. The Feast of Sinterklaas, or St. Nicholas, is an annual event which has been uniquely Dutch and Flemish for centuries. St. Nicholas' Feast Day, December 6th, is observed in most Roman Catholic countries primarily as a feast for small children. But it is only in the Low Countries - especially in the Netherlands - that the
eve of his feast day (December 5th) is celebrated nationwide by young and old, christian and non-christian, and without any religious overtones.

Although Sinterklaas is always portrayed in the vestments of the bishop he once was, his status as a canonized saint has had little to do with the way the Dutch think of him. Rather, he is a kind of benevolent old man, whose feast day is observed by exchanging gifts and making good-natured fun of each other.

It so happens that the legend of St. Nicholas is based on historical fact. He did actually exist. He lived from 271 A.D. to December 6th, 342 or 343. His 4th century tomb in the town of Myra, near the city of Anatolia in present-day Turkey, has even been dug up by archaeologists.

There is always a bit of a 'battle' between Sinterklaas-believers and Santa-Claus -believers going on, and in general, it is considered 'not done' to give too much of attention to Santa Claus before Sinterklaas-day is over and the bisshop has left the country on the next day.

An Award from Sandy G

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone
I have been surprized and humbled yet again by the giving of this award.
My wonderful friend Sandy G from At your Service kindly presented me with this award.
I know it seems so easy to say that it's wonderful to get another award but that's only part of how I feel. It is always something that means so much to me that anyone thinks enough of me to single me out for an award.
Thnak you so much Sandy. I really do value and appreciate this so much.

Exercising? You Tell Me Please...

The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
I searched for the tools to hand to my spouse.
Instructions were studied and we were inspired,
In hopes we could manage "Some Assembly Required."

The children were quiet (not asleep) in their beds,
While Dad and I faced the evening with dread:
A kitchen, two bikes, Barbie's town house to boot!
And, thanks to Grandpa, a train with a toot!

We opened the boxes, my heart skipped a beat....
Let no parts be missing or parts incomplete!
Too late for last-minute returns or replacement;
If we can't get it right, it goes in the basement!

When what to my worrying eyes should appear,
But 50 sheets of directions, concise, but not clear,
With each part numbered and every slot named,
So if we failed, only we could be blamed.

More rapid than eagles the parts then fell out,
All over the carpet they were scattered about.
"Now bolt it! Now twist it! Attach it right there!
Slide on the seats, and staple the stair!
Hammer the shelves, and nail to the stand."
"Honey," said hubby, "you just glued my hand."

And then in a twinkling, I knew for a fact
That all the toy dealers had indeed made a pact
To keep parents busy all Christmas Eve night
With "assembly required" till morning's first light.

We spoke not a word, but kept bent at our work,
Till our eyes, they went bleary; our fingers all hurt.
The coffee went cold and the night, it wore thin
Before we attached the last rod and last pin.

Then laying the tools away in the chest,
We fell into bed for a well-deserved rest.
But I said to my husband just before I passed out,
"This will be the best Christmas, without any doubt.

Tomorrow we'll cheer, let the holiday ring,
And not have to run to the store for a thing! We did it!
We did it! The toys are all set
For the perfect, most perfect, Christmas, I bet!"

Then off to dreamland and sweet repose I gratefully went,
Though I suppose there's something to say for those self-deluded...
I'd forgotten that BATTERIES are never included!

Award from Zubli at The Book Project

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

I know in my last post I promised no more awards today but this just came in and I don't like to sit on them. If people are kind enough to give you an award it obviously means a lot to them and it is only right to thank them straight away.

So... I would like to thank my good friend Zubli from the Book Project for giving me this award. If you go down a couple of posts here you will see what Zubli said in giving it to me and that is really so wonderful.

Thankyou Zubli. I appreciate the award. I appreciate you. You're a wonderful friend

An Award from Mimi Lenoz

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

One last award for today i promise. I know it's been a big day for awards but it is very important to thank anyone who thinks enough of you to award you for what you do.

This award was given to me by Mimi Lenox of Mimi Writes the Founder of the Peace Globe Movement ~ Dona Nobis Pacem ~ BlogBlast For Peace

For those of you who were watching last week Mimi had a huge event on for peace and is now a blogging icon and rightly so. She is an inspiration to many of us.

Mimi, thank you so much for thinking of me when you handed out this award. that means so much to me and I want to thank you very much

Santa Claus Winning Attitude

Award
Santa Claus
Santa Claus possesses a winning attitude, such as none I have seen within this Blog World.
Zubli Zainordin I remember at Blog Cave I am at 25th in the Top 100 list, of about 600 members then. As others, some if not most are pretty pleasant with each of our ranking.

On the 24th Of September, 2007, almost midnight, there is a familiar Ho! Ho!! Ho!!! sound echoing within the Blog Cave. He is then at number about 600 +.

On 10th Of November, 2007, he now earned to win a nice spot, at number 1, in the now Top 50, out of a membership currently 970 +.

Santa Claus Ranks Number 1 at Blog Cave

In the visual you see the tip of our Book Project Blog, ranking 4th at the moment and rising. Another one with a Winning Attitude, competing with himself.

Santa Claus in this number 1 position is becoming popular, most lovable, and he continuously impart his giving nature and more.

This is just an example of what he can do when he sets his heart and mind on it. So, when I think of a Winner who has this quality of an Attitude, I can see clearly - Santa Claus.

I now present to Santa Claus:

An Award from Jos at No DirectOn (not: No Direction)

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone.
I know acknowledging awards can sometimes seem like such a pain to you the reader but to me it is very importnat. It is important firstly because someone thought enough of what I do to actually award me for it and secondly it is important to me to say thank you to the wonderful giving person who though I was worth the award.
I would like to thank Jos from No DirectOn (not: No Direction) for this wonderful award. As you would have noticed in my previous post I was also given this by Sandee but Jos very wisely gave me a different color when he gave me the award. It's great to have the whole set.
Thank you Jos. You really do deserve this award and thank you for passing it on to me

The Angel Child

“GLORY TO GOD, GLORY TO GOD, GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST” The angel choir sang in the skies above Bethlehem that very first Christmas night. All of the Shepherds looked on in wonder as they heard from the choir of angels that filled the night sky of the coming of the Messiah, the Christ Child, Jesus who would save his people from their sins.

David watched from the hill not far from the flock and his uncle and dad who were tending the sheep. He had been coming out with his male relatives to learn how to be a shepherd under their care and teaching. They had sent him off to find a lost baby sheep that had wandered off. David knew exactly where the little scoundrel sheep was because he had chased her many times. He had given the sheep a name, Minty and it had become David’s special pet in all the herd.

As the Angel Choir finished, David heard Minty baa not far from where he was sitting. Minty liked a little cove where some sweet herbs grew and only she knew about them. But she must have gotten caught in the brambles. Sure enough, there she was, all caught up and very unhappy.

“Oh Minty, you get in trouble every time you come up here. What would you do without me?” David said happily, as he helped her get loose and she began to play about his legs and feet.

“Wow, is that a sheep?” David heard the small voice not far off.

“Who’s there?” He said nervously. As he looked around, a child, seemingly a few years younger than him stepped from the shadows. She was dressed all in white. But what really stood out is that she had wings on her back and a ring glowing on her brow, not like a headband, slightly above her brow and her whole gown glowed in the dark. “Who are you?” David said but he found he was not afraid so he approached her.

“Shhhh, I slipped out of the choir. I wanted to see what it was like, you know, here.” She said and she ran to Minty and started petting her.

“The choir? You mean, in the sky?” David gasped.

“Yes, wasn’t that pretty? I sang a while but I can’t really do much so I slipped out.” She said her angels wings spreading as she played with the lamb.

“Hello, my name is David.” David politely introduced himself. “You’re an angel?” He said and he knelt down and looked at her face.

“Yes, my name is Shauna. You’re a human?” She said and for a moment, they just stared because neither had ever been this close to someone like that. Suddenly David jumped up and laughed.

“Then let’s play!” He declared running to a tree and jumping to the branch for a catapult.

“YAY!” Shauna giggled with delight and before she knew it, her wings carried her to the tree limb and she looked down and teased her new friend from her perch.

“No fair!” he declared but no time to fuss. The new friends, an angel girl and a shepherd boy ran and laughed and played for what seemed like hours in the hills just outside of Bethlehem, not very far from where the Baby Jesus was just born.

David ran ahead followed closely by Minty and then Shauna who took flight from time to time and then landed running as fast as she could keep up when David splashed into a cold running stream laughing and slinging water back at the lamb and the angel. “Tag” David teased Shauna, “You’re it.”

Shauna was laughing and ducking enjoying every second because so much of this she never experienced in Heaven. Suddenly a sound like a trumpet was heard in the sky not far from where the Angel Choir sang its heavenly songs.

“David, I have to go home now. We all have to back to Heaven now.” Shauna said sadly.

“But I don’t want you to go. You are my friend, can I go with you?” David begged.

“No David. I am an Angel. My job will be to do God’s Will in heaven. I will praise him and help people when He sends me to help them.” She said lifting slightly into the air on her small wings.

“But I like those jobs. Maybe I can be an angel.” David objected.

“You have an even more important job David.” The Angel Child told him. "Down in Bethlehem the Christ Child has been born. You must take the news of His salvation to everyone. Go to the valley and see Him David. His name is Jesus and only you, a human boy can tell other human boys and girls about Jesus. So go. I will always be near you because now that we have met, I will be your guardian angel.” And then she mysteriously disappeared.

“How will I know you are near by?” He shouted at the sky.

Just then, a big splash of water flew up from the stream and hit him in the face. He heard her voice near the stream. “Tag.” She said with a giggle. “You’re it.” She said.

David laughed and turned and started to run to Bethlehem to see the miracle of the Christ Child, the Miracle of Christmas.

Santa needs your help again

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone
I need your help yet again.
The Blog World is a strange place. It is a place that those who don't blog will never understand. The friendships we make here are just as valid as the real world and I know how many wonderful friends I have met here
There are also days that we all go through where it is a chore to write that next blog and we just need to get away even if it is for a few minutes.
Our friend Bobby Revell is facing such a time right now. I can only try to understand how he feels and what he is going through as I don't suffer from the things that he does. However it isn't hard to see that Bobby needs our help right now. He needs our support. He needs to know that we care.
I don't want to make anyone sad or feel bad but please read what Bobby has written and then leave him a message of support. Sometimes just one word and a hug is all we need to change how we feel. I hope that works this time. I don't know what else to say because Bobby sums up how he feels. Please leave him a message of support. That's all I ask

Rock 'n' Reindeer - Run Run Rudolph

If Companies Ran Christmas

If IBM ran Christmas...
They would want one big Santa, dressed in blue, where kids queue up for their present-processing. Receiving presents would take about 24-36 hours of mainframe processing time.

If Microsoft ran Christmas...
Each time you bought an ornament, you would have to buy a tree as well. You wouldn't have to take the tree, but you still have to pay for it anyway. Ornament/95/XP/Vista would weigh 1500 pounds (requiring a reinforced steel countertop tree), draw enough electricity to power a small city, take up 95% of the space in your living room, would claim to be the first ornament that uses the colors red/green together. It would interrogate your other decorations to find out who made them. Most likely everyone would hate Microsoft ornaments, but nonetheless would buy them since most of the other tree types wouldn't work with their hooks.

If Apple ran Christmas...
It would do everything the Microsoft ornaments do, but years earlier, and with a smaller mouse (not stirring of course).

If Silicon Graphics ran Christmas...
Ornaments would be priced slightly higher, but would hang on the tree remarkably quickly. Also the colors of the ornaments would be prettier than most all the others. Options would be available for 'equalization' of color combinations on the tree.

If Dell ran Christmas...
Wait a minute? Isn't IBM running this Christmas..?

If Fisher Price ran Christmas...
"Baby's First Ornament" would have a hand-crank that you turn to hang the thing on the tree.

If The Rand Corporation ran Christmas...
The ornaments would be large perfectly smooth and seamless black cubes. Christmas morning there would be presents for everyone, but no one would know what they were. Their service department would have an unlisted phone number, and be located at the North Pole. Blueprints for ornaments would be highly classified government documents. X-Files would have an episode about them.

If the NSA ran Christmas...
Your ornaments would have a secret trap door that only the NSA could access in case they needed to monitor your tree for reasons of national security.

If Hewlett-Packard ran Christmas...
They would market the Reverse Polish Ornament, which is put in your attic on the weekend after Thanksgiving, and placed out for viewing the day after the January Bowl Games.

If Sony ran Christmas...
Their Personal Xmas-ing Device, which would be barely larger than an ornament and flat, would allow you to celebrate the season with a device attached conveniently to your belt.

If the Franklin Mint ran Christmas...
Every month, you would receive another lovely hand-crafted item from an authentic Civil War pewter ornament collection. Each ornament would weight about seven pounds, and require you to pay shipping and handling charges.

If Cray ran Christmas...
The holiday season would cost $16 million but would be celebrated faster than any other holiday during the year.

If Thinking Machines ran Christmas...
You would be able to hang over 64,000 ornaments on your tree (all identical) at the same time.

If Timex ran Christmas...
The holiday would be cheap, small, quartz-crystal driven, and would let you take a licking and keep on shopping.

If Radio Shack ran Christmas...
The staff would sell you ornaments, but not know anything about them or what they were for. Or you could buy parts to build your own tree.

If University of Waterloo ran Christmas...
They would immediately change the name to WatMas.

Where to Find Santa on Google

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

Not long ago I got a message from my good friend George at OS9USER to say that the video he was doing of the Santa sites was finished and online. Naturally I headed right over to have a look and there it was!! I can only imagine how much work George put into doing this and I can't even begin to tell him how much I appreciate everything he has done and will do (I know he has some more surprizes up his sleeve)

So sit back and relax and enjoy George's masterpiece, How to find Santa on Google.

Happy Deepavali 8th November 2007

Happy Diwali or Deepavali ( known as festival of the lights)
Come this 8th November 2007 on Diwali Day in Penang Malaysia, I had been given a task by YHWH to defeat Kali. For her followers are cruel , They "Kali-Ma" torture their daughter-in law and when things turn worse, they pours kerosense over them and burn them alive ! and also to defeat Mara her father.

1st move : I Tan Hin, Lord Brahma and Dewi Bharati to defeat Kali
2nd move : I Tan Hin, Lord Brahma, Dewi Bharati,Goddess Bast, Kwan Yin Pu Sa (Avalokistevara Boddhisatva) and Archangel Michael to defeat the demon MARA (Kali's Father)

So pray for us and lend us your strength

Facts about Diwali
Diwali, (in Hindi - दिवाली or दीपावली), is a major Indian festival that is very significant in Hinduism and Jainism. Celebrated by approximately 1 billion Hindus and Jains and known as the "Festival of Lights," and lamps (called diyas or kandils) are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for humankind. The lights also represent the time when Rama came back from the forest, and the people of Ayodhya (the capital of his kingdom) lit lamps to welcome him back home. Celebrations focus on lights and lamps, particularly traditional dÄ«pa or deeya (earthen lamp, as illustrated). Fireworks are associated with the festival. Diwali is a colloquial name used in North India, while the festival is formally called Deepavali in South India.

Diwali is celebrated for five consecutive days at the end of Hindu month of Kartika (purminata) or Ashwayuja (amanta). It usually occurs in October/November, and is one of the most popular and eagerly awaited festivals in India. Diwali comes exactly twenty days after Dussehra. Hindus, Jains and Sikhs alike regard it as a celebration of life and use the occasion to strengthen family and social relationships. For Hindus it is one of the most important festivals, and beginning of the year in some Hindu calendars.

There are several beliefs regarding the origin of the holiday. The most repeated version is that Hindus celebrate Diwali to mark the time when Lord Rama achieved victory over Ravana. Some also view it as the day Krishna defeated the demon Narakasura or in honor of the day Bali went to rule the nether-world, obeying the order of Vishnu. In Jainism it marks the nirvana of Lord Mahavira, which occurred on Oct. 15, 527 B.C. It is also a significant festival for the Sikh faith. In India, Diwali is now considered to be more of a national festival, and the aesthetic aspect of the festival is enjoyed by most Indians regardless of faith

Santa Drives Hot Wheels

Gifts and Christmas... they go hand in hand. No, presents are not the most important thing on this day, but they do hold special meaning.
I'm not talking about a commercialized holiday, nor do I believe in spending exorbitant amounts of money to appease children ( and adults ). What I have found is that thought and emotion play a powerful part of giving from the heart. I remember the favorite gifts from my own childhood Christmas's with a healthy smile. They were things that I had really wanted.
In our family, we have some presents "from Santa" and some from "us". I think this is a good balance, and makes sense to kids.
I am going to share this private moment in my life with you because I think it projects more than any words I could write. The gift given was a Hot Wheels car carrier full of different models of trucks, cars, and tractors. Not expensive, but it is what he wanted. In my ear I heard, "Thank you so much, Uncle Eric". That, my friend, is what a magical loving Christmas is all about.

Christmas Prayers at Grandmas

Two young boys were spending the night at their grandparents.

At bedtime, the two boys knelt beside their beds to say their prayers when the youngest one began praying at the top of his lungs.

"I PRAY FOR A NEW BICYCLE ... I PRAY FOR A NEW XBOX ... I PRAY FOR A NEW DVD-PLAYER ..."

His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, "Why are you shouting your prayers? God isn't deaf."

To which the little brother replied, "No, but Gramma is!"

Santa Claus Surprizing Surprize

Santa Claus
at North Pole signaling *H* word? Wow! Rare. So I pursue. Oh,

PolliwogPolliwog's friend...well, my friend too. Who?
My PhotoBud Weiser, WTIT

Okay I see the picture now, and I understand. Santa Claus a moment ago did surprize me surprizingly my. He assisted me with some blogging technicalities, then assist another with putting up a blog, next assisted me again, after which he said, "You want some more help, just ask!". I am shy. For one who was born January 6th. 1007, when there has been no computer, he is assisting many and one here who is born 16th. November 1957. Wow!

So I swing from Rawang connecting me to Connecticut via radio wave, and sprinkle the following words for Mr. Bud, who have had...Chinese says, "Aksilum":

Every Adversity Contains Within It An Equivalent or Greater Benefit. In 1987, Depression. Business closed. People retrenched and many are out of work. My second son needs 50,000 cash to do a heart surgery in Sydney, Australia. I ask the God, "why me?". I lost count how many times I asked. Later, in my wisdom, I said, "Thank You My Lord, for choosing me..." In between I read an article, The Best Baseball Pitcher, broke his middle finger. He is grounded. Yet, after healing, the finger has been fixed, but crocked. The best part is, he rejoin his team, and become the only screw ball thrower in American Baseball history. There are many stories then I read. I am a believer. I tell you Bud, welcome to a special place and space, only reserved for you, and us too, and none other has encountered what you have and are experiencing now. Find the benefit, my love. Then, next to Paula and Santa, we shall sing, *a gratitude is an attitude when combined with an aptitude shall raise you to the peak of an ultimate altitude, with the finest magnitude, and there is no substitute.* By the way, your smile is awesome. May I borrow it for a while. I shall give it back. Did I say back. Yes I did. Purposefully to keep you maintain that smile. Awesome!
Santa Claus where are you, I am baaaaaaaaaack!!!

The Snowbell Prize: Win a trip to Lapland

(click image to play the game)

Here is another nice game (thank you for bringing it to our attention, Ellen). It is called "The Snowbell Prize". You can win a great prize with this game!

It's that time of year again. Santa is getting ready for Christmas Eve. Problem is, he left some of the letters behind on the way back from his post office. Help Rudi the Reindeer and Hal the Husky to get the letters back to him.

Play with a friend to get there in the best time and win two family day trips for the both of you to visit Santa in Lapland!

Santa needs your help again

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone.
It isn't every day that Santa asks for your help but today is one of those days. It's something that is important and needs to be done.
Our wonderful friend Paula has contacted me and asked me to do something about a situation that come come about with a dear friend of hers.
Bud from WTIT Tape radio blog needs our help. I will leave it to you all to read what Bud has written but I want to make sure you realize how important this is so my asking for help doesn't just get set aside.
Bud has had 7 back surgeries and now the car that he bought only 3 days ago was involved in a serious accident that wasn't his fault and written off and naturally his back is hurting badly. Just as important Bud is obviously very depressed and needs some shoulders to rest on right now. I know many of you out there will let him know that we are thinking of him and that we care. That's all i ask. Please let Bud know that we are thinking of him and that he isn't alone. I know we can't fix the car or even rub his back for him but we can certainly hold his hand and give him our friendship and care during this bad time in his life.
Please visit Bud and read his post and please leave a message of support. Please do this for me, for Paula and especially for Bud.
Thankyou in advance
As always,
Santa ô¿Ã´

The Perfect Gift

The tree just didn't look right with only one gift underneath. Normally, there were more presents than ornaments since he enjoyed shopping for nonsense gifts.
For the last three months of the year for the past three years, every time he saw something that he thought she would like, he bought it.
This year was different. He had started to pick up items on more than one occasion, but he knew nothing would be good enough. He had made the decision that this was the year he would make his world right.
He had been to every jewelry store in the county until he found the perfect ring.He hoped she wouldn't be disappointed since there wouldn't be a bunch of gifts this time. The one he was giving her was important to him. It meant everything to him. Over the last year, they had hinted at marriage. He thought she would honor him by accepting his proposal. He knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
The tree looked so strange though, with only one gift. He knew he had to do something. He found some wine glasses and tied bows on the stems. The glasses went under the tree. He found a bottle of wine that he also put under the tree. The wine they would actually share was safely chilling in the refrigerator, but the picture under the tree was incomplete without the bottle. He found her favorite book of short stories and placed that under the tree as well. He felt there was only one thing missing. He had just the thing.
For the longest time, he had meant to organize his pictures and put them into an album. He bought an album earlier in the year for just this reason. He would dedicate the album to them.Lovingly, he reviewed all of the pictures he had of them together. He chose the best ones for the album. His camera automatically dated the pictures so it was easy to put them into date order. He was quite proud of the album when he finished. He wrapped a big red bow around the book and placed it under the tree.
Unfortunately, the original gift had become buried. He rearranged everything until he thought it was perfect. Now all he had to do was to wait for Christmas.
It would be a merry Christmas, indeed.

The Santa Game

Bonnie and Bud had been working really hard making a new board game for children this Christmas.

But they had one problem, they couldn't decide how a player should "win" the game.

They had been thinking for days and days, and still they could not agree on an ending.

Burt, the head toy elf, stopped by to check on their progress. "How's the game coming along?" asked Burt.

"Great!" replied Bonnie. "This new game is going to be lots of fun to play. The children will learn all about our life at the North Pole."

"That's right!" added Bud. "Children can visit the Workshop, Mailroom, Mrs. Claus' Kitchen, and even Santa's house! It will be like they are right here at the North Pole."

"How do you play?" asked Burt."Well," Bonnie answered, "You roll the dice and move around the board, visiting different places in Santa's Secret Village. At each place you have a chance to collect presents by spinning Santa's Gift-Spinner."

"Boy, does that sound like fun!" said Burt. "How does a player win?"

"Well...that's the problem!" Bud said. "We can't decide how a player should win and end the game."

"I think the player who collects the most presents should win!" said Bud.

"Not me," said Bonnie. "I think the first one around the board should win."

"Hmmm," Burt thought. "Deciding how someone should win the game is pretty hard." Then he had a great idea.

"Why don't we ask Santa? After all, he is the expert!"

Burt, Bonnie and Bud went to see Santa.

Burt explained to Santa how the new "Santa's Secret Village" game was played, and asked him how he thought the game should be won.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! That's easy," Santa laughed. "Christmas and the holiday season is all about GIVING to others, not just getting presents. The winner is the one who gives the most to others. That's the real spirit of the Christmas season!"

"You're right Santa!" exclaimed Bonnie.

"Thanks, Santa!" said Bud, as they hurried back to the workshop to finish working on their game.
