With Christmas behind me
summer breezes on the way
I find myself reflecting ...
to the last holiday
Family warmth enveloped us
and the tree
was center point
A hug from a brother, a smile from my niece
presents were shared
the world seemed at peace
When I look back to this day
I see kindness and love
felt in my heart
and sent from above
How fond I am of memories
holding on to the past
I wondered if Santa's magic, would be able to last?
My family will be together once more
on the next glorious Sunday
just like Christmas again .... only in May
