Happy Birthday Marzie

Join Maunie's World
Ho Ho Ho Everyone.
Maunie has a new blog - Maunie's World - and her old blog will soon be discontinued.
It would be wonderful if all the members of her old blog joined her new one and give her as much support as we can. Let's all get behind Maunie and give her a huge boost for her return to blogging :-)

Polliwog Award

Ho Ho Ho Everyone
I must say how wonderful it has been the past few days to be able to login here and not be attacked and hacked. A special thankyou to my friendly hacker (You and I both know who you are :-) ) for leaving me alone so that I can do my job.
Ho Ho Ho. I'm easily distracted aren't I. The reason for this post was to say a very special thankyou to one of the closest friends anyone could have in Blog World, Paula. Just to set the record straight as well... I know there are a few people out there that seem to have some spare time on their hands trying to think up a new conspiracy... Paula is not Santa and Santa is not Paula. Go ahead and think what you like but at the end of the day is it worth you giving Paula such a hard time (you know who you are) because you think something that isn't true and even if it was... Who cares!!!!! Ho Ho Ho. I have many chats with Paula and I can assure you I am not into talking to myself for those of you (you know who you are) who are willing to lose the friendship of such a wonderful lady because some people have too much time on their hands to .... Oh Well!!! I digress again!! Ho Ho Ho :-)
The real reason for this post was to say a very huge thank you to Paula for being my friend. During the problems that were going on with my blogs and web site over last Christmas Paula tells me she gave me this rare award (which she has only given to 5 people) and I must have missed it. So.. better late than never.. I am very touched by this Paula. It does mean a lot and to me it couldn't be a nicer "welcome back" after so many months away. Thank you and I will place it with all the other treasures that people here have given me. Thank you.

A Message from Santa Claus
Well it certainly has been a while since I have been able to post here and I must say that it is wonderful to be able to drop in and say hello. I feel like I've been locked out of my own home here for a while and hopefully all of the problems that I've had online are now behind me and I can be here more often just as I used to be.
Firstly, I would like to say a huge thankyou to Kimmy for her kindness and dedication in keeping this place going and I do appreciate it very much. I would like to thank all of you who have continued to post while I have been away and I hope that now that I'm back we can get this place back and moving the way it used to be. Happy, cheerful and with lots of activity.
It isn't long to Christmas now and time certainly has gone quickly this year. I have lots planned between now and Christmas and hopefully this Christmas I will be able to stay online and do all of the things that we were meaning to do on here last year.
Tell all of your friends that Santa is back in town and it would be great to see the posts coming from all of our coauthors once again. Let's fill Blog World with the Christmas Spirit once again and hopefully make a little bit of happiness for everyone.
Thank you all!!!
As always,

20 ways to confuse Santa
| 1. Instead of milk and cookies, leave him a salad, and a note explaining that you think he could stand to lose a few pounds. | ||
| 2. While he's in the house, go find his sleigh and write him a speeding ticket. | ||
| 3. Leave him a note, explaining that you've gone away for the holidays. Ask if he would mind watering your plants. | ||
| 4. While he's in the house, replace all his reindeer with exact replicas. Then wait and see what happens when he tries to get them to fly. | ||
| 5. Keep an angry bull in your living room. If you think a bull goes crazy when he sees a little red cape, wait until he sees that big, red Santa suit! | ||
| 6. Build an army of mean-looking snowmen on the roof, holding signs that say "We hate Christmas," and "Go away Santa." | ||
| 7. Leave a note by the telephone, telling Santa that Mrs. Claus called and wanted to remind him to pick up some milk and a loaf of bread on his way home. | ||
| 8. Throw a surprise party for Santa when he comes down the chimney. Refuse to let him leave until the strippers arrive. | ||
| 9. While he's in the house, find the sleigh and sit in it. As soon as he comes back and sees you, tell him that he shouldn't have missed that last payment, and take off. | ||
| 10. Leave a plate filled with cookies and a glass of milk out, with a note that says, "For The Tooth Fairy. :-)" Leave another plate out with half a stale cookie and a few drops of skim milk in a dirty glass with a note that says, "For Santa. :-(" | ||
| 11. Take everything out of your house as if it's just been robbed. When Santa arrives, show up dressed like a policeman and say, "Well, well. They always return to the scene of the crime." | ||
| 12. Leave out a copy of your Christmas list with last-minute changes and corrections. | ||
| 13. While he's in the house, cover the top of the chimney with barbed wire. | ||
| 14. Leave lots of hunting trophies and guns out where Santa's sure to see them. Go outside, yell, "Ooh! Look! A deer! And he's got a red nose!" and fire a gun. | ||
| 15. Leave Santa a note, explaining that you've moved. Include a map with unclear and hard-to-read directions to your new house. | ||
| 16. Set a bear trap at the bottom of the chimney. Wait for Santa to get caught in it, and then explain that you're sorry, but from a distance, he looked like a bear. | ||
| 17. Leave out a Santa suit, with a dry-cleaning bill. | ||
| 18. Paint "hoof-prints" all over your face and clothes. While he's in the house, go out on the roof. When he comes back up, act like you've been "trampled." Threaten to sue. | ||
| 19. Instead of ornaments, decorate your tree with Easter eggs. | ||
| 20. Dress up like the Easter Bunny. Wait for Santa to come and then say, "This neighborhood ain't big enough for the both of us." | ||
Magical Golden Cat is back in the blog world
Dreaming of the Holidays
to it. When I stop here at Santa's blog, the music and atmosphere gets to me. I can picture snow, the tree, and the holiday table full of Mom's good cooking and smiling faces sitting around it. I always sit next to my brother and his family. His kids are so much fun. When we arrive to the house on this magical day, my nephew runs to me calling out, "Uncle Eric ... Uncle Eric". I pick him up and give him the first hug of many that come along with Christmas. There is always so much love on this most special of days.
After dinner when the presents get opened, I too become a child again. The best part is setting up a new train, or racing the new track. Being young at heart gets increasingly difficult as one passes through time ... not on Christmas.
I have said before, and will say again .... "My life would just seem incomplete without the holidays".
It is just way too hot all summer too!! I want a blizzard ... :-)
A BIG hello from your friend in Hollydale,
SpeedyCat

Santa`s cutting a rug
When the music first started I noticed a very handsome man with a white beard, dressed in a lovely black suit , white shirt and red tie dancing dangerously close to an elegant women in a long black gown. What gave them away was the cap she wore to help control her lovely tight curls and her round glasses perched on the end of her nose sealed the deal.
Oh the attention they received. And did you know they were cool enough to surprise everyone with their hip hop routine .
Hubby didn't believe me but when we managed to dance near them he heard Santa's distinctive
Ho Ho Ho...the old rascal even managed to dance with the bride and got in tons of pictures and video too..and me without my camera.
He bent down and asked "having a good time Maunie"? I asked him for a dance but said he was sorry but Mrs. Clause did not get him alone very often. They left soon after and everyone asked...did you just hear bells. It's okay Santa...it will be our little secret. Hope you had lots of fun. I know I did.
