Where to begin is always a hard decision when tackling any large organizing project. In the garage, I usually start by cleaning off the center work table. It gives an instant sense of accomplishment and creates a needed space to sort things pulled from the darker and scarier corners of the hoard.

Yet another year begins in my never ending effort to create a truly well organized garage workshop.

Having just seen 127 Hours, I want my family to know that if I go missing... look for me there first. I could be trapped with my arm caught between overstuffed bins and paint cans.

Find me fast so I don't have to free myself by cutting off a limb, despite all those times that I said wearing an old fashioned pirate hook would be cool.

My Great Grim Ghastly Garage - DO OVER!

Remember yelling "I call DO OVER!" in games as a kid? It was a magical and powerful spell that voided any previous effort so it didn't count, as if never happened. Well, I'm calling do over on my great grim garage cleaning.

When I started this series of posts 10 months ago, my hope was to post the process of my garage organizing as a way of forcing myself to complete the task. It worked for a little while, but life happens and distractions occur. Not to mention, I accumulated many stamps in my passport to the Procrasti Nation.

So I shall try again and based on how the garage looked last night (see above), it's not very different from where I began last April...
